There are experienced counsellors and volunteer staff who are on hand to assist people who drop in.

CACFO

CACFO was born over 14 years ago as a result of the statutory body’s failure to provide adequate services to the African / African Caribbean communities. The continual exclusion of our children out of mainstream education, social exclusion, poverty and under- achievement has shown that there is a genuine need in this borough for this organisation. We are a registered charity and are funded by Croydon Council but not exclusively. We have a management committee of 13 members of which meet once a month.
Although CACFO was initially set up for the welfare of the black communities in the borough of Croydon, we are here to help anyone from any community.
CACFO is also working with other Boroughs and many organisations in the Croydon borough to address the under-achievement and social exclusion of our young pupils in the education system. We are in regular family meetings addressing health and social issues including crime.
We also run Workshops covering many different topics on the question of Black History and Reparation.
